From June to October 2026, Villa Hegra, in partnership with the Institut français of Saudi Arabia, the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM), and the Saudi Fashion Commission, launches its first residency dedicated to fashion.  Designer Tala Abukhaled has been selected to create original pieces in collaboration with Saudi artisans, following a sustainable approach.

After four weeks in AlUla, the residency continues with an intensive week in Paris focused on creative direction, followed by a production phase in Riyadh. The final pieces are presented during Riyadh Fashion Week in October 2026.
