Artist Residency – Claude Monet (Closed)

The application period has closed.

Marking 100 years since the passing of Claude Monet, the Académie des beaux-arts and Villa Hegra are launching a call for applications for Saudi artists across all disciplines.

The selected artist will be invited to engage with Monet’s work through a contemporary lens as part of a two-phase residency: a research residency in France in July 2026, in places associated with Monet’s practice, followed by a creation residency in AlUla in September 2026.

The resulting work will be presented at Villa Hegra and may also be exhibited at the Académie des beaux-arts.
