Music initiation workshops

Villa Hegra and the Philharmonie de Paris have launched a partnership dedicated to music initiation in AlUla, aimed at children, teenagers and families. This collaboration seeks to foster access to musical practice while building bridges between cultures and generations.

Since autumn 2025, Villa Hegra has been hosting a series of workshops led by professional musicians from the Philharmonie de Paris, bringing together young participants from the region around classical, traditional and contemporary repertoires. These sessions offer an introduction to a wide range of instruments and musical styles, from string orchestra to pop-rock, as well as percussion from the Arabian Peninsula. These workshops welcomed nearly 300 participants from the AlUla community.
