Call for projects

International Scriptwriting Residency (Closed) 

Villa Hegra and Film AlUla are launching a call for applications for a new scriptwriting residency, developed in partnership with Le Groupe Ouest and LIM². 

From July to October 2026, up to eight international screenwriters developing original feature film projects will take part in an immersive residency between Brittany, France, and in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. 

Designed as a space for experimentation, dialogue and collective development, the programme will support projects in their early stages through workshops, collaborative sessions and creative exchanges.
